CJ Dunn is a graphic designer and type designer based in New York City. In 2016, he launched his digital type foundry, CJ Type, where he designs typefaces for retail and custom clients, and released his first retail typeface, Dunbar. He enjoys both making type and using type, and is interested in the dialog between the two practices. His graphic design work can be found at Copter Design Studio. He keeps track of type related events in New York at Type NY. He has been a consultant for Society of Scribes.
He designed “Polaris, A Typographic Pop-Up” exhibition at MORI and objects from the pop-up are now available in their store. He designed a pangram poster series for The Cooper Hewitt Design Museum Shop.
